The III “Laura Luelmo” Literary Contest was convened by the Department of Spanish Language, Literature and Classical Languages of the IES “Vázquez Diaz” on the occasion of International Women’s Day. It had the collaboration of the Equality Plan, the School Libraries Project, the Comunica Project and the Huelva Education Delegation (Equality Plan).
Characteristics of the call for the III “Laura Luelmo” Literary Contest
El plazo de entrega de los mismos se extendió desde el 8 de marzo al 12 de abril. As in the previous edition, there were two blocks (From 1st to 3rd year of ESO/ From 4th year of ESO and BPO to Training Cycles) and two modalities: local and provincial. The works, of a maximum of 2 pages, in Times New Roman or Calibri font (of a maximum size of 12), original and unpublished, could be stories, poems, opinion articles, reflections, letters… The deadline for submitting them was extended from March 8 to April 12.
In the provincial modality, the participants competed against each other, not with the students of the organizing center. In it, there were participants from different towns in the province of Huelva.
Awards ceremony
On April 28, during the Cultural Week of the IES “Vázquez Díaz”, the awards ceremony of the contest took place. The event was attended by authorities, award-winning students, teachers, family members and/or authorized persons
