When Laura was in ESO 3rd (Compulsory Secondary Education) she participated in a school Christmas greeting contest. It was the year 2006
Her drawing won the contest and the Centro Sagrado Corazón de Jesús (Amor de Dios) in Zamora congratulated the families of its students and alumni with Laura Luelmo’s Christmas greetings the following year
Again this past year, 2019-2020, the Centre, which was her first “school”, congratulated the Christmas holidays by using that drawing as a sign of remembrance and in honour of his memory
A few days later, the Headmaster of the centre, Mrs. Rosa Oviedo Marino, Laura’s teacher during her school years, gave the family the original drawing.
